Hattie lets you build your own printable learning packets — any subject, any difficulty, any timeframe — tailored to your child's or your student's interests, like their hobbies, pets and favorite foods.

Question 2

Who is Hattie for?

Accepted Answer

Hattie is made for homeschool families and teachers. Hattie Advanced is for teens and young adults (ages 13+) teaching themselves, or others, skills like robotics, AI, coding and business.

Question 3

What ages does Hattie work for?

Accepted Answer

When you Ask Hattie, you can build for learners ages 3 through 18. Hattie Advanced is designed for ages 13 and up.

Question 4

How does it work?

Accepted Answer

Answer a few friendly questions about your learner, pick a subject, goal and timeframe, and Hattie builds a printable PDF packet woven around their world.

Question 5

How much does Hattie cost?

Accepted Answer

A single build is $7 per program. Unlimited is $15 per month and includes unlimited packet builds.

Question 6

What does the Unlimited plan include?

Unlimited gives you unlimited packet builds for $15 a month, and it covers both Hattie and Hattie Advanced. You can cancel anytime.

Question 7

What can I choose for each packet?

Accepted Answer

You pick the timeframe (one day up to a month or more), time per day (10 minutes up to a full day), and activities per day. You can also add an answer key for you, a short lesson intro each day, and a certificate of completion.

Question 8

What's the difference between Color and Low Ink?

Accepted Answer

Color is the pretty, full design. Low Ink is black and white to save ink. You can choose either one, or both.

Can I see an example before I buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Examples section on the homepage has free printable samples for different ages — one page for the youngest learners, and a little longer for older kids.

Question 10

Who can create an account?

Accepted Answer

Accounts must be created by an adult (18+). Before building, you confirm you're 18 or older and the parent, guardian or teacher of the learner. Learners under 18 use Hattie with a parent or guardian.

Question 11

Accepted Answer

Hattie does not save your child's or your student's information. Your answers are used only to build your packet and are discarded once it's created — and you're welcome to use a nickname.

Do you sell or share my information?

Accepted Answer

No. Hattie does not sell or share your personal information, or your child's or your student's details.
